I just want to say that in the U.S. there are a lot of different people but they all have one "nationality". I love to open my passport and see that in the line "nationality" is says "United States". And this is the same for for everybody who bothers to pay about $50 to get a passport. The vast majority of people here do not have passports and live happily without them. Hence, they do not know what their nationality is.

Homosexuality was not created by Danes or Americans, it was well known and practiced in ancient Greece and before. What the official religion says about this practice is a different story but the status of homosexuals changed through history from country to country. I was told that in the Philipines they have no problems with the issue. I think that nowadays people do not want to have a lot of separation between their private life and their public life and they are pushing to erase legal constrictions that lead to this divide. They do not want to live in a "closet" and think that because they have sexual interests to people of their own sex there is something wrong with them.

Recently I had a dinner with a friend who is a lesbian. She is about 55-60 years old and is a relationship with another woman. They own property together. I asked her: how did you know you were homosexual? She answered: how did you know you were heterosexual? I said: in the fifth grade I had a crush on a boy. After some time she said: you know, I do not hate men, I have male friends, etc. but I do not want to kiss them.

One time I saw a good cartoon in The New Yorker. Husband and wife sit in the living room, typical middle class environment. Husband asks wife: what do you think about gays marrying? Wife answers: didn't they suffer enough?

:)))

As for homosexuals, I dont care about that "issue" at all. As long as they dont bother other (hetero) people or impose their "ideas" or seduce innocent people, it is up to them, purely their personal issue. I dont see anything immoral about e.g. two males living together out of their own free will. I dont find this natural, it is weird to me, but I deep in my heart I dont care.
I think it is much worse if a gay person is heterosexually married and has kids -- and has a gay partner, out of marriage of course. This IS immoral indeed - being unfaithful. And it is much worse when straight parents "sell" their little boys and girls to dirty maniacs, to make some money.

Bullshit!
